Be a princess on your wedding day
Want to feel like a real princess as you walk down the aisle? This is your chance.
In partnership with Princessweds, we're giving away three free wedding cords and a hair vine for all brides-to-be.
The lady behind Princessweds is my sister, Che. She made my hair vine on my wedding day, her first foray in beading. She took a short hiatus on this calling but has recently taken up the hobby again and has made quite a few brides happy on their wedding day.
Interested? Here are the guidelines:
1. This is open to all future brides.
2. Prizes to be given away are as follows: 3 wedding cords and one hair vine. There will be four winners in all.
3. All the bride has to do is leave a comment on this post on how she envisions her wedding day to be. Minimum of 10 words, please. Be sure to leave your email address and your wedding date with your post.
4. Got to Believe will choose 4 posts by the end of July and will notify the winners thru email within 15 days.
5. Items will be shipped within August(or as soon as we have your mailing address). Shipping of the items is free of charge, within Metro Manila only. Shipping to provincial addresses will be on the account of the winner.
Check out pictures of the items here.
Hope to read all your posts soon.

I am as any girl who would want to have their wedding day as a dream-come-true day. I can remember when I am much younger I kept on making a list for my debut party, my 18 candles, 18 roses and the cotillon. That was the first of the list I had envisioned and got. A few years more, I found myself fascinated by married life. Thus, my wedding list. From then on, i refer to my list making some changes here and there. And now, finally! I will be getting married to someone I truly love. Talking about dreams coming true and my own fairy tale coming to life. I know...we know, that this is not the happily-ever-after ending. This is the start of something new (familiar song coming :)), something wonderful. So as I am refering to my wedding list and how it should be? It has changed a lot from the original plan. It has a touch of the traditional customs like having it in a church (as I sad to my groom, it isn't a wedding if it's not in a church!) but with my own version. I want it to be comfy and happy! Just like a fairy princess in my own fairy world.
And I am glad there some people like you who would help us have the wedding we dream of. Thanks.

Just like most girls, I've always dreamed of a fairytale wedding, but to be honest, the most important thing in my mind right now is the presence of my dad, mom, and my 2 brothers on my wedding day. It's very hard to be away from them for such a long time. I'm really looking forward to have a family portrait with me dressed in white.:)

Intimate would be the best adjective to describe my wedding. Perhaps not the fairytale-type I envisioned as a child but I only have one non-negotiable requirement anyway - my man at the altar, and I will surely have that. Celebrated when the sun is at its height of shine when we exit the church at noon, the church ceremony signals the start of my new life with the one I truly love. We're civil wed so we're legally married but this time around, we'll have His blessings with our family and close friends as witnesses.

The moment we started booking our major suppliers I got so excited and always dreams of D day! When I had my first gown sketch I always dream at night wearing the beautiful gown like a princess walking down the aisle with all my friends and loved one's looking at me as I walk to marry my prince :) I can't wait for that day to come :)

I never dreamt of myself walking down the aisle until i met the perfect man who treated me as a queen and gave me everything more than i could ever hoped and dreamed of. And for a special day as I have envisioned it, is to be intimate and solemn, full of happiness and pride as to let everybody witness the love and compassion we had for each other. It is a day not for merely extravagance but a day to shout to everyone how we love one another and how we grew for each other. As i imagined myself as Drew Barrymore with "Ever After" :).
I know in my heart that our wedding will be a perfect one, no matter how many glitches it will have. What counts most is our exchange of vows with our families and dearest friends being there as our witnesses. All we really wanted is for people who are really close to our hearts would be able to (literally) take the extra mile (since we are having a destination wedding). With my prince charming beside me and a "kingdom" of family & friends, this is more than enough to make me a princess for a day!

I never wanted a huge church or long aisle to walk down but all I want is to see the happy, contended and smiling face of my husband waiting for me, as we take the blessing from the lord and vows of togetherness.
I never dreamt of extravagant, overgenerous wedding reception full of unknown faces but I dreamt of solemn, intimate wedding reception shared by closest family members, relatives and friends who will guide us through.
After all the money spent, time pressure and petty quarrels, one thing will mark that “BIG DAY”, the moment you promise to love each other eternally and start a new journey as “ONE”.

I never really dreamt of a grand wedding affair, so a simple one is just perfect. Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to close relatives and friends being there on our wedding day. I see them smiling at me when I pass by the aisle. Those silent greetings mean the world to me and i feel like a VIP because it shows how much they love us just by being there and stand witnesses to our "i do's". i'm sure i'll have lots of fond memories to recall because i had the best people at the best day of my life. That's how I see it. :D

I always envisioned my wedding to be about me, the blushing bride dazzling in my princess cut dress but lately I realized that there's more to it than just me. So now I want it to be a solemn celebration of our union before God being witnessed by people we love. After all, love made it happen.

Leihson, my fiance, knew from the start that I have always dreamed of having a fairytale wedding... And so when he proposed to me, he decided to make an early reservation for the most dreamy fairytale wedding he could possibly give... I have never been happier.
I have always seen myself walking down the aisle to the prince I have waited for a long time, looking and feeling like a princess on that very special day, even wearing a princess ball gown inspired by the royalties of England. I envision myself slowly walking down to my prince with "Two Words" playing on the background. And of course, in front of my closest friends and family, we will exchange our I Do's and make our seemingly-magical union a reality..

I guess it couldn't be anymore fairytale-like than that..
I always envision my wedding day to be perfect in terms of everything. With my fairytale gown, my knight in shining armor, my castle, everything in place and all people important to me. But along the way of my preparations, i realize that my perfect wedding is enjoying my wedding day with all its glitches and booboos. Being with someone who is important enough to commit myself to in front of the people who are already part of my past, present, and future. Most importantly, seeing our families happy for us treasuring every moment of that night just like us.

I will always feel a princess knowing that in a few months time I will be marrying my bestfriend and fiance Jeffrey. I just want to make myself more radiant with love and pride as I walk towards the prince of our wedding day with accessories fit-for-a-royalty on me.

December 7, 2009 will be starlit and breezy. A light, misty rain will fall as this symbolizes the pouring of blessings. The ambience will be festive and everybody will be able to join in on the laughter - be it while waiting for the bride, on queue at the banquet table or during speeches - as all the guests are truly close to our hearts. There may be a few tears shed when I am given away by my Dad, but it will be one of those paradox because though they have "let me go" it is with the knowledge that each side of the family has also gained a new member.
It will be a night nobody will ever forget as they joyously witness how we will start to build our life together.
i am excited to marry the love of my life. we both want to have a very solemn ceremony then have a kick-ass party with family and friends. i know that whatever happens (glitches and all), it would be one special celebration of our love for each other. but more than getting caught with all the wedding preparations, we're trying to focus more on how our married life can be as happy as can be.

as an events organizer myself,i never really got a chance to be on the spotlight, most often, im always on the side making sure that the event run successfully.
as a child, i never experience having a bday party whether its 1 year,7 years and 18th year celebration nor i did'nt joined any contest on being a princess like beauty contest or simply be in the United Nations parade, but im not a neglected daughter, its just that my mom live in a simple manner which i do understand.
now,im having this big day, we have waited for so long, what do i expect?? well... it's my time for me to shine ; ) i envision it to be fun, fab, relax and not stiff event, that's why my theme is polkadot, hehe ! but of course,i will be the queen bec i already have princess, my princess bea,she will definitely steal the scene, hehe ! this event is for me,for my husband and for our princess bea ; )

( finally !)
I have always had just two visions: A wedding filled with the loving presence of old friends and family, a very rare gathering in one roof to witness as we affirm our vows before God.
And, a wedding where all those present will leave with a strong urge to hold their own partners' hands tighter and to dance slowly too, like we did, in the loving comfort of each other's arms.
